In 2009, Daylight Saving Time begins on Sunday, March 8. While Hawaii does not observe DST, some of the programs on NGN2 (TV Japan) will be realigned beginning this coming Sunday.

In particular, the NHK Morning Drama (currently "Dan Dan") will start an hour earlier in Hawaii (on NGN2). For those who do observe DST, these start times won't change, relative to their clocks.

Expect a similar realignment beginning Sunday, November 1, 2009, when DST ends.
